Cleveland Underdog Rescue's mission is to provide homeless, abandoned, abused, and neglected dogs a safe haven where they will receive medical care, nutrition, and love until a "forever home" is found; to reduce the number of unwanted pets by spaying and neutering all dogs in our program, and to promote the message that a pet is a lifelong commitment.

Thanks to so many caring individuals we have met Noni's goal! She will continue to receive her adequan treatments and will soon be scheduled for her heartworm treatment at Rainbow Veterinary Clinic in Cleveland Hts.
Noni's Progress Report
Good news – thanks to so many kind hearted individuals, we have raised enough money to start Noni on her Adequan treatments. Adequan Canine is administered 2x a week for a period of four weeks. It is a drug that is administered intramuscularly to ensure it reaches the critical parts of the joints. In Noni’s case, her hip joints. Adequan can slow the cartilage from breaking down and actually supports the repair process. We should see signs of improvement within 4 weeks. Noni's first dose was administered on Thursday, April 26th. Her foster mom, Judy, already swears she has more pep in her step!! Maybe it is the Adequan taking effect or maybe it's the fact that Noni knows she has so much love and support.
Although this sweet girl's first year of life has already been a rough one, it hasn't ended yet. Noni is heartworm positive and has severe hip dysplasia, two very painful ailments. We are asking for your help to offset the costs of her upcoming medical care and appreciate any help!
